Join us for this new conversation series at Story & Song, where we feature an artist whose work is currently on exhibit in the Story & Song Art Gallery and learn the stories behind the art and gain insights about the artist’s creative process.
Steve Leimberg was known as The “BirdMan of Amelia”for his stunning painting-like prints of birds and other Amelia Island wildlife and landscapes featured locally in the Amelia Islander Magazine and the Fernandina Beach News-Leader. A professional fine art wildlife and portrait photographer, Steve was awarded the 2008 International Nikon – Popular Photography Mentor Series Grand Prize and was First Place winner in the Photography Section of the 2014 Amelia Island Shrimp Festival. He exhibited at numerous galleries including the historic Ritz Theatre and Museum in Jacksonville, the Amelia Island Art Association, and Omni Plantation Guild and Gallery.
